What is Aura and What is it for?

🌟 What Is Aura?
Aura is a unique experience-based currency that fuels your power, efficiency, and access to advanced abilities in-game. It’s earned through key actions and lost upon death but can be redeemed.

🔧 How to Earn Aura
Players gain Aura by performing core gameplay actions:
Mining – Every block mined adds to your Aura.
Crafting – Creating items contributes Aura points.
Killing – Defeating mobs or players increases your Aura.

Aura is earned in the background of regular gameplay.

💀 What Happens When You Die?
You lose a portion of your Aura.
Your death count increases.
You can redeem lost Aura and forgive deaths by speaking to the Cleric in the Mining Aura spawn.

🚀 Why Aura Matters
Aura unlocks powerful advantages:
Boosted Rewards – Convert Aura into rare items and currency.
Over-Enchanting – Enchant items beyond the normal cap, up to Level 100.
Passive Abilities – Gain perks like:
Silk Touch on spawners
Increased mining speed
Auto-smelt ores
Combat Edge – If your Aura is higher than another player’s:
You deal +0.5 hearts of extra damage.
Your nameplate shows your Aura level, making it a visible status symbol.

How do I protect my valuables or my base?

🏴‍☠️ Raiding, Vaults & Survival MiningAura Style

Forget boring claim systems. On MiningAura, raiding is, risky, and rewarding just like classic Minecraft. Here’s how it works:
🔓 No Claims, No Protection Just Pure Anarchy

Builds are never protected.
Anyone can break, loot, or grief your structures.
This is an anarchy landscape, hide your base well or risk losing it all.

🧱 Vault System: Your Items, Your Fortress
Instead of protecting builds, we protect your items with a custom vault system:
🗝️ Vault Chests
Store your valuables in vault chests.
Each vault acts as a loadstone you can warp to it anytime.
Create multiple vaults across the world for strategic stash points.

🧱 Secret Vaults
Turn ANY block into a vault:
A torch, a sapling, a piston, even a flower pot!
These blocks become hidden chests perfect for stealthy storage.
🔐 Lock System
Add locks to your vaults as many as you want.
If someone tries to break your vault:
They only break one lock at a time.
A vault with 20,000 locks? Good luck raiding that.
Locks work on secret vaults, too!

🧭 Strategic Teleportation
Vaults double as teleportation points.
Warp to your stashes from anywhere.
Build a network of hidden vaults across the map.

💎 What to Store Where?
Aura-enchanted gear (like a level 20 Sharpness sword)?
→ Keep it in your Ender Chest for max security.
Bulk valuables (diamonds, redstone, rare materials)?
→ Perfect for your vault chests.

How does Player vs. Player work On This Server?

⚔️ PvP Mechanics

If you die, use /back to return to your location.
New players have a 60-minute no-PVP grace period.
Use /pvp disable to remove protection and fight immediately.
You are flagged for 30 seconds after entering combat.
Logging out during combat results in death.
You can kill the same player up to 3 times before Kill Abuse protection activates.
Dying in PvP causes Aura loss.
Aura loss can be tracked with /aura.
Aura can bypass max enchantment levels, which may lead to instant death.
Aura can be converted into upgrades in the Aura House garage.
Speak to the Cleric Villager to remove a death from your record for $999.
Sword and axe swing cooldowns are removed—PvP uses 1.8-style combat.
Hacking is allowed, but End Crystals are banned in the Overworld.

💰 Economy & Tokens
All creatures have a chance to drop money.
Use /pay to send fiat/dollars.
Use /p, /c, or /at to view your tokens.
Use /p pay or /c pay to transfer tokens.
Tokens generated from Aura are saved on death.
If you die, 10% of your /bal money is sent to the player who killed you.
Tokens purchased on MiningAura.com are not lost on death.
Use /auratokens to view tokens usable for cosmetics, pets, PvP items, upgrades, and more.

Can I use hacks and mods?

Yes you can use hacks or mods by choosing your preferred player path, it’s the first thing you do in game! Your start tutorial will teach you all about our rules in regards to hacks or modifications.

Vanilla playstyle: you won’t hack, or use mods/bots, you also will have your own base buddy AI to help you in your efforts, the base buddy comes with automations.

Modded playstyle: you plan on using personal mods, or even scripts to assist your gameplay but you will not use pvp advantages, you do not get a base buddy.

Anarchy style with hacks: do whatever you want with restrictions that apply in the overworld, you cannot attack modedd, or vanilla players or use end crystals in the overworld, however in the end, or nether it is true anarchy.

What if a player lies, hacks in the wrong playstyle, and kills me?

🧠 Hacking & Path Rules

Hacking is allowed only if you’ve chosen the Anarchy path.

Anarchy players cannot interact with players on Vanilla or Modded paths while in the Overworld.

Crystal PvP is banned in the Overworld, but allowed in the Nether and End.

If you’re killed by a hacker in the Nether or End, it’s legal unless the hacker is on the Vanilla or Modded path.

PvP hacks are not permitted for Vanilla or Modded players.

If a Vanilla or Modded player is caught hacking, their privileges will be reassigned to the Anarchy path.

To report a hacker violating path rules, you must open a ticket on Discord with evidence otherwise, it’s not considered valid.

No permanent bans exist on MiningAura.

Players are free to choose their own playstyle, with path-based restrictions in place.
