The EULA friendly method of converting in game AURA into real world REWARDS.
EULA-Friendly AURA System Explained
Our AURA system is designed to comply fully with Minecraft’s EULA, ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for all players. Here’s how and why it adheres to the guidelines:
Earning and Using AURA:
In-Game Experience Points: AURA is earned through in-game actions such as crafting, mining, and defeating creatures. It functions like an experience point, unique to each player and non-tradable within the game.
In-Game Conversion: Players can convert AURA to in-game currency, which can be used for purchasing EULA-friendly cosmetic items or powerful items that enhance PvP gameplay, without affecting other players’ experiences.
External Conversion to MDGG Tokens:
Conversion Request: When players speak to an NPC in game, the request is logged, detailing the amount of AURA and the player’s crypto address. This request is saved in a config file on the server!
Manual Processing: The conversion is handled manually by the server admin, ensuring it is separate from the automatic in-game mechanics. This manual process emphasizes that the conversion happens outside the core game environment.
Transparency: Players are informed that AURA’s conversion to ERC-20 tokens is optional and not facilitated by the game itself. Any real-world value is player-driven and not associated with Mojang or Minecraft.
Purpose: Players who have chosen to convert their AURA into rewards points do so for the purpose of using the blockchain to keep score.
Compliance with Minecraft’s EULA:
Non-Monetary In-Game Currency: AURA within the game has no real-world value and cannot be cashed out or transferred, adhering to guidelines that in-game currency should not have real-world value.
Separate from Core Mechanics: By handling conversions manually and externally, the process remains outside the game’s automatic mechanics, ensuring the game’s integrity.
Clear Communication: We maintain transparency with players, ensuring they understand that AURA is an in-game experience point with the option for external conversion, clearly distinguishing this from any game-affiliated monetary value.
Extended Functionality and Modifications:
No Play-to-Earn Mechanics: The mod doesn’t create a play-to-earn function within the game where players earn real-world or cashable in-game currency.
No Out-of-Game Content Access: The mod doesn’t verify or require players to own or access out-of-game content, maintaining in-game feature integrity.
By ensuring these practices, our AURA system aligns with the EULA, providing an engaging and compliant Minecraft experience.
